"My
name is Amber, and I have been having lessons with
Louisa for over 6 months now. I spent a couple of
years looking for an instructor who would work with
me and my horses, and who focused on the whole aspect
of horse, rider and biomechanics of both. I can't
tell you what a relief it was to finally find an instructor
with the same goals and visions that I had. From my
first lesson I knew I had found the right person to
help me achieve my goals, and the past 6 months has
shown an enormous improvement in my riding.
Both
my horses, one being an off-the-track Thoroughbred
and the other being a young Cleveland Bay cross, have
benefited from Louisa's instruction. And now with
Louisa having completed her bodywork course, my Thoroughbred
is now coming along in leaps and bounds.
I
can thoroughly recommend Louisa as an Instructor who
is professional, knowledgable and has empathy for
both horse and rider."

"When
I bought my horse in 2003, I bought her knowing that
I would have to find a trainer for both my horse and
for myself. After years of searching for the right
match for us, my horse Charm and I were lucky enough
to have Lou in our lives in 2006 and 2007. Not only
did she communicate with Charm beautifully from the
moment she met her, but she was also able to translate
that to me so I could further my training and help
me build confidence in my riding. She took the time
to carefully evaluate both me and my horse, to understand
our wants and needs, and move us forward to my goal.
Lou has forever changed the way that I listen to my
horse (and all horses) and my riding. My horse and
I deeply miss her in California and we have not found
a trainer like her since she moved back home."
